Major milestone marked as half a million journeys are made on the Northumberland Line
500,000 passengers have now travelled on the Northumberland Line since it opened, train operator Northern has announced. Tree works in Blyth's Ridley Park
Important safety work is taking place in Ridley Park, Blyth this week. As part of the County Council’s year-round tree inspection programme, around a dozen dead and dying specimens have been identified in the park and are being removed.
